Barclays
Facilitating innovation and growth in financial services
Founded in 1690, Barclays is one of the most iconic financial institutions on the planet. Its fintech platform Rise operates on multiple continents, uniting founders, partners, clients, and fintech enthusiasts to facilitate growth and innovation. I worked closely with Rise’s London and New York branches to bring their new website and community app to life.
With the goal of promoting the Rise brand and onboarding new fintech companies to the community, as well as enhancing the experience for the existing members, we completely redesigned the Rise digital platform. While treating the physical spaces and events as the focal point, we augmented the real-world experience with a host of useful services and aids. Attending and tracking events, connecting to new clients or vendors, or simply booking your meeting room—all of this is now possible thanks to the Rise app.
Argyle
Unlocking payroll access for the modern world
Argyle is the payroll connectivity leader that created and defined the whole new business category with the goal of modernizing financial services. I worked with Argyle from its first product prototype to the $55M Series B round and beyond.
Throughout my four-year engagement with the company, I embraced diverse roles and wore many hats. My contributions involved building a world-class design team, establishing and managing a company-wide design system, shaping the brand identity, nurturing vendor relationships, as well as actively supporting fundraising and board meetings.
“Siarhei played a pivotal role in shaping Argyle’s success.”
XSpace
Introducing a novel category in commercial real estate
XSpace is a unique multi-purpose commercial condo franchise from Austin, Texas. It could be used as a garage, self-storage, gaming studio, workshop, warehouse, or anything else. Adorned with a swanky river-view lounge, it’s also a place to meet and socialize.
To signal this versatility and multi-directionless, Swiss agency Brand Affairs came up with the name XSpace, where the X signifies the infinite freedom of choice. I worked with the XSpace and Brand Affairs teams to bring the visual part of the branding project to life. The boxy three-dimensional X and the bulky, unapologetic typography capture the essence of the concept and instantly convert a regular commercial unit into an exciting place of interest. The derived patterns and accent colors also make the brand application options seemingly infinite, akin to the original idea of the space.
Kiln
Redesigning work for an enhanced lifestyle and productivity
Kiln is a boutique coworking franchise, originating from Utah and stretching its presence across the United States. With its breathtaking design, amazing amenities and a genuine sense of community, Kiln is truly a place where productivity meets joy.
I collaborated with development agency Scale3C and the Kiln team to build the marketing website and the community app. Focusing on the beautiful design of the space as the project’s centerpiece, we enriched the digital experience by seamlessly integrating customer acquisition and community-building features, including sign-ups, events, newsletters, room booking, a comprehensive community directory, messaging, and more. This effectively transformed a good-looking website into a powerful customer acquisition tool.
Common Networks
Solving the last mile internet problem
Common Networks was established to bring affordable internet to suburban communities across the US. Using a unique antenna technology as a cost-effective alternative to traditional fiber optics, it managed to disrupt telecom monopolies and provide high-speed internet at a fraction of the price.
Collaborating closely with the Common team, I worked on building their website, designing investment presentations, and developing their distinctive brand identity. Incorporating the concept of interconnected networks, I designed a clever C-shaped symbol made of multiple nods, that is both instantly recognizable and unique. The colorful friendly dots challenged the dry corporate branding of the competition and became the talk of the town when the brand was first launched in Alameda, CA.
“Siarhei has been an incredible designer to work with on building our brand and design as a company.”
The Loop
Building the biggest creative community in Australia
The Loop stands as Australia’s top creative community, catering to designers, marketers, illustrators, photographers, and copywriters alike. It holds a distinct position as the prime platform for showcasing work, discovering projects, and connecting with job opportunities.
My collaboration with the Loop team involved a comprehensive overhaul of the platform, transforming it into a career advancement vehicle and the best place to source talent. Through meticulously rethinking the onboarding flows, the profiles, the portfolios, and the job post integrations, we managed to not only increase user engagement and reduce churn rates, but also boost job post revenue and enlist big-name advertises such as MTV, BBC, Uber, Spotify, and Bauer Media.
Qbis
Leveraging technology and empathy to rebuild recruitment pipelines
Qbis is a unique European recruitment agency that empowers workers to leverage the freedom of movement within the EU and secure jobs with better pay abroad. Starting with a quick revamp of the Qbis homepage, my involvement quickly grew into a sweeping transformation of their whole recruitment platform. This spanned everything from internal processes to funnels and practices. We realized that understanding workers and their needs is the key to improving conversion rates and driving recruitment numbers.
The impact of the project extended beyond a digital facelift. We ignited a shift in the company’s culture, steering it toward a more empathetic and supportive approach. Instead of just being recruiters, Qbis now serves as a valuable guide on workers’ journeys to secure jobs abroad and relocate. These introduced changes resulted in tripling the Qbis workforce acquisition numbers.
Rollpark
Making a case for geotextile as the go-to instant parking solution
Rollpark employs its patented geotextile technology to construct industrial-scale parking lots for clients such as Ford, Canadian Pacific, and PennState. Over 1,000,000 cars are parked in these lots, which are more cost-efficient and eco-friendly than asphalt.
I collaborated with the Rollpark team on creating their product’s branding and developing the website. With the goal of expanding to the SME sector, we created a friendly and visceral design language that employed cross-section illustrations and infographics to educate potential clients about the product. This exciting new approach proved to be effective in attracting a new type of buyer, facilitating Rollpark’s expansion of its client portfolio.
Malka
Showcasing New Jersey’s top creative studio work in the best light possible
Malka is a creative studio headquartered in New Jersey. With big-name clients such as Showtime, Netflix, Universal, and Amazon, it produces a multitude of video, design, and animated content across every existing visual medium.
My engagement with the Malka team led to the creation of their new interactive website, which prominently showcases their impressive work and effectively communicates the company’s distinctive bold, daring, and straightforward approach. A generous dose of black, lively typography, and well-defined layouts proved to be impactful for delivering the intended message and accentuating Malka’s captivating work.
